Her fragile fingers

I'm terribly fond of hands.
especially delicate, thin hands.

Such as these.

It's a simple picture. Still it brings up some thoughts to me.

Such as someone drowning. It's that all too typical picture, of that hand, that desperately reaches out for help, that is not going to come.
Since here there is no water but only darkness, it's more like depression.

A person, drowning in depression, close to giving up, close to committing suicide reaches out, in that last flashing up of life-will.
She's drowning in thoughts, dark, sad and hopeless thoughts. and her hand seems so lifeless, just hopeless as she reaches out.

Her hand looks as though it would just fall to her side and life would leave her.
They are pale. Unchanged in any way.

No nail art, nothing.

No beauty in life, no will to live.

Hands are a great part of the body language.
so... You called this 'her fragile fingers'

Her fingers symbolize her. Her mind, her ever so broken mind. Her body, that only lives on, because it hasn't been killed yet.

It's such a beautiful, yet thoughtful and sad picture.
