It is like a mold that shapes the mutation of an idea that has just been conceived. It somehow resembles to the cg characters in sci fi movies. In order to proceed towards the illustration envisaged, you need the initial cell, to build on. It isn't just about the model but the shape of all life surrounding, that she streams through a glance in space and out of time. That's how an idea evolves and regenerates. I bet she was asked to exhale at a certain distance, not to affect the surrounding aura. This aura has its own source of oxygen that stimulates the birth of a new dimension to the story... by coveting the way it is perceived... in time! By each and everyone and all. This photo breaths a folk, recited as redemption towards its origin and consequence towards its aftermath.
A Poweful, Thought Provoking image...it caught my attention, made me go back and really look at it, so job well done in that catagory..i love B&W, especially portraits, they become timeless, and for me that's what a good portrait should be, i'm not sure how well this would translate in colour, maybe very muted or just a slight hint, i'm not covinced..so it works and where to from here, well as a collection of 20 images in a similar style, could make an exhibition..it would in my mind be a beautiful window graphic for any store in NY/London..regardless of their product range, just a great generic photographic backdrop, equally as a poster campaign for an opera...it's as i say timeless, and works as an unobtrusive communication..well done great work, hope DA appreciate it as much as i do!!
Peut-on revenir à la réalité ? Si on vous dit que la réalité existe, dites que c'est l'image de la réalité que nous voyons. "Ceci n'est pas une jeune femme posant".
The expression on her face is so hard to take in. Seems like she is iether in serious deep thought, upset or very sad. When I look at this, it makes me feel sad too.. really makes me question what she is thinking... or planning to do. The strand of hair in her face really adds to the shot, makes her look imperfect, like maybe she made a terrible mistake. I also admire the butterfly on her wrist, gives everything a strange symbolism. And the texture on her shirt brings everything together. Good job.
