the saviours and the damned. this work calls into question our concepts of reality and time and beliefs. who is the saviour? who is the damned? is the first man saving her or is he sending her to her destruction? who is she, what does she signify? is she innocence? is he there to annihilate her and thus is he the dark or is he the light? is she temptation? then again it begs the question is he the light or is he the dark? the second male looks amazed and also seems to want to possess her. or is he saving her? or is he despatching her to her doom by pushing her towards the first male? who is he? let your imagination roam in the dark recesses of your being and soul. there in the darkness of the divine you, the seeker may find the light and realize that it is the dark which sacrifices itself, so that the light can shine. let the demons and the angels arise out the miasmas of your soul. and may you find the fragrance of the pure in the miasma and revel in the multiplicity of your being. for you are the dark and you are the light. and you are pure and you are perfect. in the book foucault's pendulum by the italian author umberto eco one chapter stars with the inscription from the rosicurcians 'for i am the sinner and i am the saint. i am the virgin and i am the the prostitute. i am the first and i am the last.' this work takes me on a journey of many stories and i create those stories and that journey. than you my beloved friend, for allowing me to write a critique for this beautiful work of the purity of the psyches of the dark and the light. and it inspired this eloquence from me. with love. malay mangal singh.
