Night in May

I wish I had a thing for stringing together words that are meaningful and not just jokes, but alas.. I feel it necessary to write an expressive critic this time around. By the vignette, it's clear the focus is all on her fingers. Her hands are like a rancher's. Out in the field, we've got to live with barbed wire fences and scrap metal constantly puncturing our wrists and appendages. To me, blemished hands are beautiful in what they represent, which is a hard-working individual. I'm not keen on pulling out emotions from photography, either, but I'm getting a sense of protectiveness. She is holding something precious in her hands.

I can't favorite this enough.
