The article of faith in narrow eyed compositional evaluation ... an almost even division of light above and dark below with the eye travel from upper left to lower right as negative and positive spaces.

Movement ... the central gestural location of the hands placement, the saturation of hue in the hair, the angled positioning of the arm to the dark placement point of the desaturated and out of focus aureola. As with so many of the beautiful and expressive photographs of this artist, there is a sense of longing and incompleteness imparted not only by the details of the subject matter, but by the talents utilized to compose and create travel by the viewers concentration.

Composition ... the horizontal layering of the space ... dark to pale to clear detail is saved by the presence of the aureola and the physical shapes of the model's arm and shoulder. The value shifts across the space are enchanting.

Emotionality ... as with all of the images Natalia has produced which I have viewed there is an intimacy and desperation imparted that register deeply with this viewer. The sense of this artists direction and nature is once again affirmed as are her capabilities and talent as a photographer.
