I love the intensity. Though, a bit grainy, the attention to detail is phenominal. I also think the graininess adds to the image a bit. What a very expressive image. The subject is brilliant. I've seen images with melting candles before, but never displayed in this type of eerie lovliness. Back and white is of course a great choice. Any choice of monochrome really makes a photo with this kind of emotion that much more impressive in my opinion. The subject's eyes are piercing right through me...
The shadows are so smooth, and the subtlty of the subjects hand adds a bit of movement to the image.
I wouldn't fuck with the model. Period.
